Former Miss England and girlfriend of Danny Jones from pop band McFly, Georgia Horsley, has been fitted with a state-of-the-art hearing aid by a local audiologist, based in Westminster.

Director and consultant audiologist at Pindrop Hearing, Rony Ganguly, has fitted Georgia with the Nano, one of the smallest hearing aids on the market and produced by Phonak, the world’s leading manufacturer of hearing instruments. Georgia Horsley was first diagnosed with hearing loss in her right ear during a routine health check by her school nurse when she was five years old. She said: “I suffered with meningitis when I was three and doctors think that’s when I lost my hearing.”

Since being fitted with the Phonak Nano device, Georgia said: “I’ve never had hearing in my right ear so it’s unbelievable! The first thing I noticed was my audiologist moving on his chair. I can pick up the smallest sounds and everything is so loud.”

Georgia was fitted with a Phonak Nano hearing device at Pindrop Hearing on Harley Street.
